To be able to see Mahon or the whole island of Menorca from a different perspective, a boat cruise around the island is best. The best way to witness and observe the varying characteristic of Mahón's port involves taking an hour long catamaran tour. The glass-bottom boats allow its guests to get views of the interesting underwater life. This tour is truly worth taking, as you will totally experience a different world even if you are still above the sea. The cost is 9€ ($10) for adults, 5€ ($5.75) for children under 11 years of age. Tickets for this tour are available at Xoriguer Gin Distillery. Tours are carried out from May to October at 9:30 in the morning, then continue on the hour until 5:30 in the afternoon.
