| Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands and one of the famous tourists’ destinations in southern Spain. There are more than a hundred beaches around this island. Though this place is not as lively as Benidorm, party lovers would actually think that this place is boring yet to those who are looking for a place that is peaceful and quiet; this is the place for them. You will enjoy walking along the coasts and hiking at its mountains. This is different from the other Balearic Islands, this is not yet developed when it terms to the beaches. They have numerous unspoiled beaches and the center itself doesn’t have much of tall buildings and infrastructures.

This is a place with fewer buildings yet this is the perfect get away to those who are nature lover. There are several activities that you can do here in Menorca, you can go hiking, horse back riding, diving and many others. Though this island is not like the other Balearic Islands when it comes to their beaches and its place, yet its nightlife is also vibrant. The places that come alive during night are the Villacarlos, Mahon and Punta Prima. This is where most of the happenings, in Villacarlos, you will find different kinds of restaurants and in Mahon, you will find bars and several tapas restaurants and if you want to check out the discos, you can go to Punta Prima where it has modern discotheques around.
You won’t be able to see any high rise hotel buildings but there are some that you can find over the coastlines. The hotels that are at the coastline have a nice view over the Mediterranean Sea and are just near the beautiful beaches.
